Ghostlight provides that hard to find and even more difficult to replicate niche between shoegaze and ambient/electronic textures that both genres have trouble grasping. Sampled vocals and lightly padded drum machine beats give way to tinkling synths and a pulsing, mellow groove that sweep the listener away into a dream world. Fans of Hour Musik, Bertoia, and Dive will find themselves very satisfied with this unique take on the shoegazetronica genre.
